As for her on-screen debut, Nina had a small part in the 2011 Disney Channel TV movie, Geek Charming. She then had guest roles in the fantasy series The Secret Circle and Supernatural in 2012 and also worked on the movie, I Am Vengeance the following year.
In 2016, Nina Kiri worked on the film Let Her Out and collaborated with Sanja Zivkovic, a fellow Serbian-Canadian in the short film, Cleo. She also starred as Jordan in The Haunted House on Kirby Road and Jordan Andrasta in Super Detention that year. Kiri then played Gloria in the 2017 film The Heretics and won the Best Actress award at the Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival that year.
Thereafter, the Serbian-Canadian star auditioned for the dystopian TV series, The Handmaid’s Tale. She was chosen to play Alma in the show and reprised the part till 2021. Kiri’s performance on the show was well-received by both critics and audiences.
