Léa Seydoux’s parents, Valérie Schlumberger and Henri Jérôme Seydoux-Fornier de Clausonne are both well-known individuals in the Parisian circle. Her mother is an actress-turned-philanthropist who also founded a boutique that promotes the work of African artists. Valérie had lived in Senegal as a teenager and as a result, she was interested in helping the community there.

On the other hand, Léa’s father, Henri Seydoux, is a businessman who founded and serves as the CEO of Parrot, a French wireless company. Moreover, they are from an influential family, with the actress’ grandfather Jérôme Seydoux serving as the chairman of Pathé. Moreover, two of Léa’s granduncles from her father’s side were cinema producers. The Seydoux family is among the most popular and well-known families in France.

Well, Léa Seydoux’s parents separated when she was only three years old. She is the youngest child of her parents together; Henri and Valérie had previously welcomed Camille Seydoux in 1982. Additionally, through her mother’s first marriage, the actress has three older half-siblings, Noé Saglio Marine Bramly, and Ondine Saglio. Also, Seydoux has two half-brothers, Omer Seydoux and Ismaël Seydoux from her dad’s marriage to Farida Khelfa.

Despite growing up in such a big family, Léa has stated that she felt lost and had the feeling that she was an orphan. This was because neither her father nor her mother were around much when she was a young child. The actress has shared that she felt lonely growing up.

She then came into the limelight in 2008 after starring in the movie The Beautiful Person. That same year, she also worked on the films Les vacances de Clémence, Dolls and Angels, and On War.

2009 saw Léa Seydoux playing various characters in Des Illusions, Inglourious Basterds, Lourdes, and Going South. The following year she appeared in Traceless, Robin Hood, Dear Prudence, and the short film Little Tailor. Her performances in these movies were loved by fans and critics alike.
