Katt Williams is a well-known stand-up comedian and actor who has worked on many projects such as Friday After Next, My Wife and Kids, Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore, and more. He has also voiced many characters and produced many projects over the years. Williams has gained much prominence from his work as a comedian and actor and through his music career.

Where Is Katt Williams From?

The comedian was born Micah Williams in Cincinnati, Ohio, on September 2, 1971. He was raised in Dayton, Ohio, and spent much of his childhood there. However, at the age of 13, Katt emancipated himself from his parents and moved to Florida.

Following the move, the stand-up comedian supported himself as a street vendor. There is no further information regarding his childhood and family members. But let’s hope that in the coming days, we will get to know more about it in the coming days.

When Did Katt Williams Start Her Stand-up Comedy Journey?

Well, Katt Williams’ journey into the entertainment world started out when he began performing comedy in Avondale, Cincinnati. He honed his comedic skills by performing his set in clubs nationwide. And by 1999 Katt had become an established comic having appeared on stage at The Comedy Club, The Improv, The Hollywood Park Casino, and The Ice House.

Williams starred in his first comedy special in 2006 titled Katt Williams: Live: Let a Playa Play. This was followed by his HBO stand-up special, The Pimp Chronicles, Pt. 1. His second HBO comedy special, It’s Pimpin’ Pimpin’ was released in 2008. He also went on a comedy tour that year which was named the best of 2008. After a four-year hiatus, Katt returned to their stand-up career and released Kattpacalypse, his third HBO comedy special.

The talented comedian announced his retirement in December 2012 but came out of it only three days later. He continued his stand-up comedy career and has released a few more specials for Netflix. Moreover, he has been on comedy tours performing at various events around the world and we hope he finds more success in the coming days.

What Other Ventures Has Katt Williams Worked On?

Apart from his career as a stand-up comedian Katt Williams has also tried his hand at acting. He made his debut starring in an episode of NYPD Blue in 2002 and also appeared in the movie Friday After Next. He then worked on a few other projects such as The Tracy Morgan Show, Choices 2, OutKast: Roses, Treasure n the Hood, My Wife and Kids, Ganked, and Rebound.

Continuing with his acting journey, Katt appeared in Repos, It Ain’t Easy, Epic Movie, Norbit, Larry the Cable Guy’s Christmas Spectacular, The Perfect Holiday, and First Sunday. Throughout the latter half of the 2000s and 2010s, Williams worked on many popular feature films. In recent years, the talented comedian has worked on Atlanta, For the Love of Money, The House Next Door: Meet the Blacks 2, The Last O.G., and 2 Minutes of Fame.

Is Katt Williams Married?

Talking about the personal side of the comedian’s life, he has remained secretive regarding his relationships. But we do know that he is a loving father of eight young ones. Moreover, seven out of eight of Katt Williams’ children are adopted. He also has one biological son and now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his kids.
