Best then booked the part of Dr. Eleanor O’Hara in the medical comedy-drama Nurse Jackie and was part of the main cast in the first five seasons. She then guest starred on the show’s 7th season in 2015.

Following Nurse Jackie, the London native appeared in a few other works such as The Challenger Disaster, Someone You Love, New Worlds, The Honorable Woman, Life in Squares, and The Complete Walk: Antony and Cleopatra. She also worked on Lucky Man, A Woman of No Importance, and Fate: The Winx Saga.

Eve Best was then cast as Princess Rhaenys Targaryen in the fantasy drama TV, House of the Dragon.
