Reality competition shows have taken the world by storm as they have helped new and experienced artists gain a platform to showcase their skills, while viewers are introduced to varied performers easily. The talented singer was born Emma Brooke Alley and is a Lyman, South Carolina native. As per her appearance on The Voice, she is 19 years old, so she was born in the early 2000s. Moreover, it also is unclear if Emma is an only child or if she has any siblings. But what we do know is that she started taking voice lessons as a 6-year-old. Aforementioned, Emma’s singing journey began as a young girl as she started taking singing lessons at the age of 6. She trained in classical music and had been involved in the music scene in South Carolina for a while. Whether it is leading praise and worship in church or performing Messiah with a full orchestra, Brooke seems to have already done it all at a young age.
Furthermore, on her official website, it has been stated that Emma Brooke has performed for huge crowds at church, schools, town festivals, Spartanburg Philharmonic Orchestra events, Piccolo Spoleto Festival, and sporting events among others.
Brooke’s budding music career also saw her opening for the popular country artists Hunter Hayes and Lauren Daigle. Well, even though her first single, Feelin’ Good only came out in January 2022, it is evident that Emma Brooke has already made a name for herself in the music world.
Moreover, Emma is one of five members of the rising band in the SC area, The Blue Executive. The band has already performed blues, indie rock, and alternative music at venues such as RJ Rockers Brewery, and The Kava Konnection to name a few. Well, having already found a grain of success in the music business did not stop Emma Brooke from trying out her luck on the 22nd season of The Voice. She performed a beautiful rendition of California Dreamin by The Mamas & the Papas at the blind audition which aired on the 1st episode of the show. She managed to impress not only the live audiences but also two coaches, Gwen Stefani and John Legend who turned their chairs.
While sharing her dream for her singing career, Emma Brooke stated that while she trained in classical music, she wanted to branch out into contemporary music. And in return, John Legend too talked about the change he wanted to help her transfer her music journey. Well, this seems to be what won Emma over as she chose to join Team Legend and work with the EGOT winner as her coach.
Emma has already competed in the battle round and managed to defeat fellow Team Legend contestant Nia Skyfer. The pair sang Tate McRae’s single, She’s All I Wanna Be and their battle was aired on the 9th episode of the show. Just like Emma, Reid is also a musician and has kept the titles, pianist, music producer, and composer on his Instagram bio. Moreover, the pair are both members of the band The Blue Executive.
